Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts should be submitted online through this portal and must conform to the style and procedure described in the most recent publication manual for the American Psychological Association. Manuscripts must be accompanied by an abstract in English of 200-250 words typed into the abstract section online. Where appropriate to the nature of the article, the abstract should contain statements of (a) the problem, (b) the method, (c) the results, and (d) discussion. 

Manuscripts should conform to the style and procedure described in the most recent publication manual for the American Psychological Association. Manuscripts must be accompanied by an abstract in English of 200-250 words typed on a separate sheet of paper. Where appropriate to the nature of the article, the abstract should contain statements of (a) the introduction/problem, (b) the method, (c) the results, and (d) the discussion. Authors must provide a cover letter, a title page containing all identifying and affliation information, and a blinded title page. Manuscripts submitted that do not adhere to the approved submission process will not be reviewed or returned.

Authors should submit the following:

1. Cover Letter
2. Title page containing affliation information for all authors and the full contact information for the corresponding author
3. Blinded title page containing NO identifying information
4. Abtract (200-250 words)
5. Manuscript (single spaced, Times New Roman 12 point font, line numbering)
6. Tables/Figures 

All manuscripts MUST conform to the style and procedure described in the most recent publication manual for the American Psychological Association. Manuscripts submitted that do not adhere to the approved submission process will not be reviewed. Please make sure to review all headings, labeling, references, and tables/figures before submitting to make certain that you are adhering to APA formatting
